School of Humanities and Social Sciences Celebrates Chinese New Year

At noon on December 29, 2011, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences held a New Year celebration at Run Ze Jia Ye Hotel. The former Dean Hu Xianzhang and former Party Secretary Wang Sunyu attended the celebration along with other 230 faculty members.

The Party Secretary Shi Zhiqin presided over the celebration and Dean Li Qiang delivered a New Year’s address. Li reviewed the 10 big events of SHSS in 2011 and sent his best wishes to all faculty members. Nearly 100 faculty members from the Departments of Chinese Language and Literature, History, Philosophy, Sociology, International Relations, Psychology, Political Science, and International Center for Chinese Language and Culture, Institute of Economics, Institute of Science, Technology & Society, Center for Art Education, and School Offices presented wonderful programs with in-between lucky draws. Finally, the celebration ended in the warm applause.
