Ni Yuping Professor of History Department, Tsinghua University. His research field is about

economic and social history of Ming and Qing.

He has published several books, including Customs Duties in the Qing Dynasty, ca.1644-1911（Brill,2017）,China’s Road in the Great Divergence: Qing’s Model of Economic Development in the 1644-1911 Era（Tsinghua University Press, 2023）. His articles are published in Social Sciences in China, Historical Research, Australian Economic History Review, etc.
