Educational background

Wang Jianlang, Vice President of Association of Chinese Historians and President of the Chinese Society for the History of the War of Resistance  Against Japanese Aggression, specializes in the study of modern Chinese diplomatic history.

Work experience

He has published works such as Far Eastern International Relations in the Early Stage of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression(《抗战初期的远东国际关系》), The Course of China's Abolition of Unequal Treaties (《中国废除不平等条约的历程》), The Diplomatic Strategy and Foreign Policy of the National Government after the Outbreak of the Pacific War (《太平洋战争爆发后国民政府外交战略与对外政策》), and The Wartime Diplomacy in A History of the Chinese War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression《中国抗日战争史》之《战时外交》卷). He has also co-edited The New History of Modern China Written by Scholars across the Straits (《两岸新编中国近代史》,4 volumes), which won the Second Prize of Excellent Scientific Research Achievements of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and A History of the Chinese War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (《中国抗日战争史》,8 volumes), which won the First Prize of the Guo Moruo China History Award.
