Educational background
Sun Zhengjun ,Born in 1982 in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, Zhengjun Sun holds a Ph.D. in History from Peking University. He is currently a Tenured Associate Professor in the Department of History at the School of Humanities, Tsinghua University.
Work experience
His primary research focuses on the bureaucratic systems of the Han-Tang periods and the critical study of historical sources. He is the author of The Lost Traces of Yu: A Knowledge-Historical Study on the Discourse of the Nine Provinces’ Field Allocation in Tang-Song Lingnan, Path and Craft: Studies on Medieval Bureaucracy, Epitaphs, Historical Source Criticism, and Beyond, and The Creation of the "Portraits of the Emperors—A Chinese Scroll Painting." He has also edited Studies on Medieval Chinese History (Vol. 8), a special issue titled The Formation of "Text" and "Material," and has published dozens of research articles and numerous translations.
