Education and Work Experience
She graduated from Renmin University and received her Bachelor’s (1982) and Master’s (1987) degree in philosophy and received her Ph.D. from Shandong University. From 1982 to 1984, she taught Philosophy at Beijing Sport University. She has been teaching in the department of philosophy of School of Humanities at Tsinghua University since 1987.
She visited Regensburg University of Germany in 1998 and was a visiting scholar at Boston University in 2003 and 2004, and was a visiting scholar in the Sino-Christian Institute of Hong Kong in 2007.
Teaching and Research
She teaches the courses of “Religious ethics and religious culture” ,“Study of western philosophy” and “The religious theory of modern western” for Master and Ph.D. students. For undergraduate students, she taught “The history of Western philosophy”, “Modern western philosophy” and “Marxist philosophy”.
Her research fields cover western philosophy and religious studies, especially philosophy of religion, German philosophy, ethics of religion and comparative studies between Christian and Confucian thinking. She has published a few books and more than 100 articles in academic journals.
