She concentrates on Marxist philosophy, contemporary Western Marxist philosophy and French philosophy, and has led multiple projects under the National Social Science Fund of China, including major, key, and general projects; and she has also led multiple major projects under the Beijing Social Science Fund. Her research achievements have won many significant awards, including the Second Prize of the Humanities and Social Sciences Achievement Awards for Higher Education Institutions (issued by the Ministry of Education) and the Second Prize of the Social Science Achievements of Beijing. She has published six academic monographs and more than 100 papers in important academic journals.
